Avail Health & Behavioral Solutions, LLC is seeking a Direct Care Provider to join our registry network as an independent contractor. In this role, you will provide one-on-one home and community support for an adult male in his 30s on the autism spectrum. Primary support includes community integration and social skill-building around town, including the local pet store, gym, and grocery store. This is a great opportunity for experienced caregivers or special education teachers looking to expand their current case load or pick up extra hours.

Avail Health & Behavioral Solutions, LLC is a nurse registry agency that connects homecare clients with experienced caregivers. Services are typically funded by Medicaid, private insurance, or the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD). We do not operate out of a facility, and all caregivers operate as 1099 independent contractors providing 1-on-1 care in the client's home and/or community. Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle for professional use (gas/mileage not reimbursed)
- Ability to pass a Level II Background Screening
- Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or behavioral health needs
- Personal smartphone required for app-based scheduling and client communication
- CPR/First Aid Certification (required within 30 days of onboarding)
- APD Training Certificates (required within 30 days of onboarding)
- CNA, BLS, HHA, or DSP certifications preferred (not required)
Employment Terms Disclosure:
This is an Independent Contractor (1099) position, not a W-2 employment role. Contractors are strictly responsible for their own tax obligations (including self-employment taxes) and are not eligible for company-sponsored benefits, health insurance, or paid time off.
